Hair Hair Hair

I've recently changed my hair colour and began noticing different reactions towards me and my whole physical persona. It is quite strange that a simple hair colour alteration could render you a whole different person; at least when interacting with strangers. I get more looks (whether creepy or pleasant), more doors are held open, more people let me on the streetcars and subway trains first, and more smiles. It makes me realize that people take personalities for granted and base looks on a higher level than they should. I suppose first impression counts for a lot of things but why and who cares? I guess blondes do have more fun.
