I am a fan of Archie comics. Well, up until I was 15 anyway, before I outgrew the series - but my sister and I still have our collection of comics though most are packed away in our garage. I even remember doing a presentation on the world of Archie in Grade 9 - but I don't know why I chose that particular topic. Jeez, I was a big dork back then! I'm sure I still am.
Anyway, I was lying on my couch, hating being sick and weak and watching the news when I first heard that Archie will be tying the knot. Shocker! An upcoming issue of Archie comics will feature a story in which Archie pops the question. To who you ask? To Veronica! While good old reliable Betty is left in the dust. Will the love triangle that spans nearly 70 years finally come to an end? A disappointing end, in my opinion, if he indeed ends up with Veronica. However, the entire story will be published in six parts, so there may be hope that Archie will come to his senses in the end.
