our next-door neighbour has a dog so we asked him if he knows the owners of the lost basset hound (my favourite breed!). luckily he did and he brought the doggie over their house but they weren't home! our neighbour kept him overnight. the doggie was wet, smelly and freezing, he wanted to go inside our house - he was probably hungry too. at about 5 PM next day, the owner sees his dog on our lawn 'cause my dad and our neighbour were chatting outside and claims he's been looking all over for his dog since the night before and knocking on people's doors. it's sooooo absolutely false 'cause we were all up until 4:00 AM, our neighbour probably included 'cause the dog wouldn't stop barking. we think the owner was just trying to save face and probably left the dog alone overnight. what an ass! grrr....
What a butt-head! (the owner) ugh, there are some absolutely retarded pet owners out there. I just die over basset hounds too...when their ears drag on the ground. So cute! I'm in love!
