Book Making Workshop

In the spirit of D.I.Y aesthetics and collaboration, this hands-on, all-ages workshop teaches the basics behind designing, producing and distributing your own handmade book. Learn the art of zine-making and self-publishing with Ginette Lapalme, Selena Wong, Tara Azzopardi and Sonja Ahlers who will lend their experience, inspiration and expertise.

Advance registration is required for this event. Your registration fee of $25 includes a gift bag of zines created by participating artists, hands-on workshop instruction and access to the artists' personal reference materials. An extensive library of handmade books will be on hand to peruse and available hardware on site will include print-gocco, photocopiers, stitch and staple binding stations along with a plethora of arts and crafts supplies.
